We initially ordered 8 machines of which we used to sell tickets for the World Cup in 2007. These machines were damaged by localised flooding and PC Option built another 8 and delivered them in time for us to complete our ticket sales.

After making my order I was kept well informed about it's progress, my emails being answered very quickly and helpfully. It did take some time to be built, 2 weeks to process the order, and about 1 to build, but I had ordered some pretty specialist hardware which would have taken time to come in.
I had a slight problem with delivery first time round, Fedex in their infinite wisdom decided it would be a good idea to break my system en route, so I had to send it back for repairs. Again though I was to be impressed with this company's professionalism and quality of service; after having sent the PC back, I was kept up to date about it's repair/replacement, and within about 2 weeks my system was redelivered with no problems whatsoever.

I really can't stress enough the quality of service provided here, for me the process was so much simpler than I had been expecting, and to have someone available to contact quickly and effortlessly was simply fantastic. I found all I was looking for in PC Option, and doubtless I will be back in around 5 years for a new system.
So if like me, you're looking for your first custom rig, but don't want the hassle of building it yourself, look no further than PC Option, I can guarantee that you won't be disappointed!

Customer Services/Support
I can't really comment on this; I received frequent e-mails informing me of my order's status prior to delivery, but have otherwise had no contact with PCOption. Since the delivered system was exactly as ordered and has worked flawlessly so far (see below), I've had no reason to contact them further.
Final Product
The PC booted up successfully, quickly, and quietly on the first attempt, and has run stably, quickly, and quietly since without a hitch (I'm typing this testimonial with it). The operating system was pre-installed, with none of the excess bloatware, rubbish, or unneeded additional software that most mainstream manufacturers load their systems with. All drivers were up to date and correctly installed. The PC case options were the only ones I found to be rather limited on the site's configurators, but the Trident case I chose is of surprisingly high quality, and looks rather good in silver & black; more importantly, it's cool and relatively very quiet. The entire system and packaging spoke of quality, and I'm very impressed.

Conclusion
The website's limitations and unimpressive first impression is all that lets down an extremely competent, efficient, and reliable company in my eyes -- if you don't have the knowledge, interest, or time to build your own PC from individual components, then PC option are the best bet, and come highly recommended; superb build time and delivery notification, solid build quality, and an excellent overall product. I've no reason to doubt that this company's after-sales support is anything less than outstanding, though I may not need it!

When phoning to ask about my custom specification the phone was answered in under a minute every time. When calling for technical support once owning the computer, times were also speedy. (5 - 10 mins at most). E-Mail support replied within 1 working day. Staff are polite, friendly, knowledgeable and UK based. I've been made to feel as if the company care, and it's a much more personal relationship than with that of bigger firms.
The computer arrived within the estimated time (It was well worth the wait - they do the job properly) and it's been pretty much perfect. The keyboard was damaged (fault of the courier DHL who dropped it right in front of me!) PC Option not only replaced it, they sent me a special offer copy of Far Cry 2 that I had just missed out on too. Small little tweaks that I've wanted making since have been dealt with well. I'd like to see DELL pull that one off. Not a chance.

Being a teenage boy I was after a high performance computer with gaming capabilities. I selected a custom performance build and was impressed by the vast selection of options I had control over. The PC is EXACTLY what I wanted. I know the PC well, because I picked every single part of it. For an enthusiast like me that's a real feel good factor. I spent around £1100 which included a high quality screen with keyboard, mouse and speakers.

For the computer illiterate that's GREAT stats and GOOD value for money.
Due to the extensive options such as faster memory specs you can really take full control over the construction of your rig. You rarely get that level choice in stores. I've been able to max out games such as Crysis at a good FPS level. A game such as this really is the benchmark right now and I was pleasantly surprised that it ran so well. If you don't want to build your own model, PC Option have some prebuilt options for you to choose from. I had a look and they're well put together.

I really can't recommend this company enough. It's been so nice to have a hassle free buying experience and I've been able to fully enjoy my new toy... tank.

One thing I would like to mention that will hopefully aid them in the future is to advertise more. I have been searching for a pc for 2 months and this system purchased beat Dell, Curry's, PC World & Mesh etc by at least £180.

I felt it right and proper to offer some feedback on my experience of buying a new computer from PC Option.

Having had a previously poor experience of buying my last computer from an internet dealer I was a little wary of doing the same thing again. I researched several custom build computer companies - big and small until I hit a recommendation on a PC Advisor Forum where I came upon the name Tom Muir who seemed genuinely keen to meet customer's requirements and expectations whilst being realistic and honest enough to admit that things don't always go to plan and that problems sometimes need sorting out.

This approach appealed to me and I contacted PC Option, first making some general and tentative enquiries.The replies impressed me and soon I was able to make some specific requests for the kind of computer I wanted to be built.The answers I got both on the live 'chat session' and on the phone were so helpful. Tom's patience never seemed to run out! Needless to say, I placed an order for a base unit costing around £765 with several extras and on Sept 29th 2007, within thequoted 7 working days, received the 'beast' So far - it seems to be just the business.

I have decided to write a final review on www.pcoption.co.uk due to lack of information on this company on the net before i bought from them just over a week ago.

I found the company on google whilst searching for base units as this is what i wanted, I went to the page and found a lovely looking website which was simple and proffesional. This simplicity was also carried on through navigation of the site, customising the pc i wanted and the quick and easy ordering process.
I was able to either ring or talk to people at the company on their live chat section in the top right hand corner of their site. They answered all my questions and were always helpfull.
I would just like to also point out that these computers are the best value i have seen anywhere, you also get a 5 year warranty with most systems and they dont use cheap components.
I ordered my pc over the phone which was good because the operator made sure i was getting the best for my money and the best setup.
After placing my order i still had questions and these were answered quickly and politely.
I was able to track my order being built and also when it had been dispatched. I was able to contact www.pcoption.co.uk and get the courier consignment number so i could further check the delivery process on the courier website.
I recieved my pc yesterday afternoon and i could not be happier with my purchase and the company.
If you need a pc for anything these people can cater for it, from the basic systems right up to the high end gaming ones. I would choose these people again and again and will be recommending them to my friends and family.

I ordered online and got a phone call and the guy went through my order with me and gave me some suggestions so that the computer would be better suited to what I needed.

I only had one problem with them, the mouse was faulty, but I sent it back and they sent me a new one for free. I can reccomend them to everyone. I'm a student and so I shopped around everywhere for the best deal, and they were the cheapest. Customer service is also good.
